As a technologist at Prime Video, you will own end‑to‑end product, user experience, design, and technology to deliver state‑of‑the‑art entertainment experiences. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of applied scientists focused on natural language processing and computer vision research for video‑centric digital media. Create and communicate research roadmaps to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with business goals. Recruit, retain, and develop top talent, fostering a strong applied‑science environment. Develop and release machine‑learning models that improve content understanding, localization, and enrichment for Prime Video. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of building machine‑learning models for business application. PhD, Master’s degree, or equivalent with 6+ years of applied research experience. Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or related languages. Experience with neural deep‑learning methods and machine‑learning frameworks. Preferred Qualifications Experience with tools such as scikit‑learn, Spark MLlib, TensorFlow, NumPy, SciPy. Experience with large‑scale distributed systems like Hadoop or Spark. Base pay for this position ranges from $150,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $260,000/year in our highest.
