About The Role ZetaChain is looking for a Brand & Marketing Designer to help with our omnichannel marketing needs around ZetaChain’s core products. This role focuses on supporting our Marketing team across the globe, creating beautiful design across digital and print. You’ll collaborate with marketing team members across time zones to execute marketing ideas and support our product and marketing strategy.
What You’ll Do
Visuals for Socials: Take ownership of designing visuals for our social media marketing efforts for platforms such as Twitter, Telegram, Lu.ma and others based on marketing team direction to solve for complex ideas and needs while challenging the current crypto norms.
Create Impactful Illustrations: Whether illustrating city skylines for a location‑based event or creating new visuals based on our unique brand style, you’ll be creating many illustrations to help communicate ideas conceptually or reference something literally.
Motion design and animation: Bring your illustrations and marketing visuals to life for the occasions when we need them to move. A strong command of After Effects is helpful for this role.
Video Creation & Editing: Dive into video creation to support our marketing efforts – whether creating brand videos or after‑event videos – you’ll help storyboard, design, and create videos from scratch in DaVinci Resolve with your assets or pre‑captured videos.
Marketing Handouts & Merch: Create designs for marketing handouts – from brochures to t‑shirts – for our events around the world.
Presentation Prep: Help the Business Development, Product, and Developer Experience teams with presentation visuals and deck prep for talks.
Branding: Create bespoke branding for venture studio projects – from logos, color palettes and typography to illustrations, visuals and more.
What We Look For
A strong portfolio showcasing beautiful design, conceptual thinking, and a command of core design skills including typography, color, layout, and composition.
Professional design experience with excellence in branding, illustration, visual design, and end‑to‑end design.
Experience with creating new and building upon an established visual brand and illustration design language with range to create net new content.
Ability to lead your own design projects from ideation to launch and beyond with cross‑functional teams.
Experience working in a collaborative environment with other designers, product teams, marketers, legal, and business teams.
Experience transforming complexity into simplicity, and creating order from uncertainty or ambiguity.
Technical understanding and/or ability to break down complex, technical concepts into intuitive visuals that communicate the right thing at the right time.
Fluency in the typical design tools, including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and DaVinci Resolve.
Design depth and range – comfort with visual design, illustration, motion design, business strategy acumen, storytelling, copywriting, and copy editing.

Creative generalist with marketing‑first instincts.
Have worked in‑house at a tech, crypto, or startup brand with global reach.
Cross‑timezone collaborator who thrives in async environments.
Strong portfolio showing social content, motion graphics, branding, and illustration.
Comfortable with fast turnarounds and switching between formats daily.
In‑Office Culture We believe that collaboration is supercharged when we share space together. Many members of our team work
hybrid from our San Francisco office , aiming for
2 to 3 in‑office days per week . We’re flexible when schedules shift, but generally value building together and keeping the energy high. The company is a mix of remote and local team members.
Compensation Base Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 (San Francisco benchmark). For candidates in other locations, compensation is adjusted to remain competitive within their local market. All full‑time team members receive an additional 10% to 25% in liquid benefits with upside based on role, experience, and impact.
