Team & Role Design at Scribd makes complex ideas feel simple. You’ll join a 15‑person Product Design team to shape the core Scribd experience in an AI‑driven world. Your work will help readers discover and engage with content that adds real value, while influencing the direction of Scribd’s core experience.

The Work

Bring ideas to life fast and shape them through feedback.

The Essentials

8+ years of product design experience.

An appetite for solving complex problems.

Curiosity and collaboration in how you work.

Fluency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.

The Application Process

Resume with 6+ years experience designing complex, consumer‑facing products.

Portfolio with 2–3 case studies that show measurable impact and a point of view grounded in the why.

Compensation Base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range based on the local cost of labor benchmarks. The salary ranges are as follows:

San Francisco, CA: $118,000 – $184,000

Outside California (US): $97,000 – $175,000

Canada: $123,500 CAD – $164,000 CAD

This position is also eligible for a competitive equity ownership and a comprehensive benefits package.
