Position Summary The Vice President of Communications will be responsible for leading Paradromics’ global communications strategy, shaping the company’s narrative, and elevating its reputation as a pioneer in neurotechnology. This executive will oversee corporate storytelling, media relations, executive visibility, internal communications, and thought leadership initiatives that articulate Paradromics’ mission and technological breakthroughs to the world. The ideal candidate is a visionary communicator with deep experience in strategic communications, brand leadership, and scientific storytelling. They should have a proven ability to position innovative technology organizations at the forefront of public dialogue turning complex science into powerful, human-centered stories. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with Paradromics’ mission, business goals, and long-term growth. Corporate Narrative: Shape a compelling brand voice that reflects the company’s innovation, integrity, and human impact. Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with top-tier media, trade publications, and industry analysts in neuroscience, biotechnology, and emerging technology sectors. Thought Leadership: Partner with executive leadership to position Paradromics’ experts as industry thought leaders through speaking engagements, publications, and interviews. Reputation Management: Oversee proactive and reactive communication strategies to protect and strengthen the company’s reputation. Internal Communications: Foster transparency, alignment, and engagement across teams through clear and consistent internal messaging. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, investor relations, clinical, and product teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across all channels. Crisis and Regulatory Communications: Manage communications surrounding product milestones, partnerships, and regulatory announcements with precision and compliance. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, preferably within biotechnology, healthcare, or advanced technology sectors. Proven success developing and executing global communication strategies that drive awareness and engagement. Strong relationships with media outlets and key influencers in science and technology sectors. Exceptional storytelling, writing, and presentation skills — capable of simplifying complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences. Demonstrated leadership experience managing internal teams, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders. Expertise in digital communications and social media strategy. Skilled in navigating high-visibility situations, including regulatory and crisis communications. Preferred Qualifications Experience in neuroscience, biotechnology, or medical device communications. Familiarity with FDA, HIPAA, and other healthcare communication standards. Background in investor relations, corporate affairs, or public policy communications.
