Position Summary:
Bush Hog, RhinoAg and Dixie Chopper are some of the most recognized and successful names in the Agricultural/Outdoor Power Equipment markets. The Marketing Assistant is a key position in the Company and will support and contribute to the company goals of profitability, return on investment, inventory turnover, and accident prevention. The Marketing Assistant, under general supervision, will provide marketing support and coordinate marketing functions with other RhinoAg Inc. departments and outside vendors. This position is a highly visible role and assists in each brand's public appearance in the market/industry.
Essential Functions of the Job: Develop communication tools including presentations, newsletters and email/social media campaigns, under the direction of the Director of Marketing Collect, document, and utilize all contact information for dealers and customers for use in communications and marketing efforts Key contact and content creator for all Bush Hog, RhinoAg, and Dixie Chopper social media. Is responsible for day-to-day activity within the all approved social media sites including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others as needed Register and coordinate all shows the Company will participate in to include getting materials and equipment delivered to and picked up from each show Coordinate Company events including employee functions Review, approve, and process dealer Co-op Marketing requests and shared email inboxes Manage the Company's Marketing giveaways and promotional materials Maintain stock/supply of product and company literature, specifications, parts manuals, price books, and other miscellaneous sales materials/forms as needed. Coordinate with literature and printing fulfillment contractors Key contact for sales and Marketing within the collection, consolidation, and distribution of the AEM/OPEI data for company shipments Key contact with outside vendors including advertising, media, promotional, and other marketing vendors Responsible for timely processing of Marketing invoices and tracking department expenditures Run monthly and special reports for social media reach, communication reach, website visitors including Google Analytics and distribute needed information to Marketing, Sales, and Management team as need Assist company teams with brainstorming and advertising strategies Able to travel up to 10% of the year for meetings, trade shows, photography/video shoots, and other necessary trips Perform other duties which may be assigned by supervisor Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good grammar usage and proofing skills Ability to build and foster effective business relationships with executives, managers, dealerships, Territory Managers/Sales Team, vendors, and other internal and external customers Excellent computer skills including knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. General knowledge of advertising through social media, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and others Experience with event management preferred Able to be self-directed, prioritize multiple tasks, and achieve results under minimal supervision Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, communication and public relations skills General knowledge of Adobe Suite (Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) software preferred Experience quoting and managing print jobs preferred Work cooperatively as a part of a team Must have excellent organizational skills Able to prioritize and organize own work Education and Experience:
College degree of Bachelor of Science, Marketing or Business preferred, not required.
