We’re looking for an expert in e‑commerce retention marketing, agency team building, and inspiring leadership. The Role As the Senior Email Strategist, you’ll guide, coach, and develop our Email Strategist team while developing high‑quality email strategies and ensuring client work is executed flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities
Department Development:
Continually improve department processes and KPIs, optimize workflows, and prepare the department for growth, including hiring support.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Create and implement innovative email marketing strategies aligned with client goals, manage the entire email process from list creation to testing, and track performance metrics.
Data Analysis and Performance Tracking:
Track and analyze campaign data (open rates, click‑through rates, conversion rates, ROI) to inform strategy and prepare performance reports.
Testing and Optimization:
Conduct A/B tests to refine subject lines, content, design, and other elements for better performance.
Client Relationship Management:
Build strong relationships, serve as the main point of contact for email marketing, oversee project timelines and budgets, and ensure client satisfaction.
Reporting and Communication:
Regularly update clients on campaign progress, results, and address concerns.
Client Retention and Expansion:
Work to retain existing clients and identify upsell or cross‑sell opportunities.
Desired Outcomes & Goals
Maintain client churn rate
Handle 10‑15 clients collaboratively while managing the Email Strategist team.
Ensure clients receive a minimum of 5x ROI.
Improve campaign turnaround times by 10% quarter‑on‑quarter.
