Consumer Promotions Manager
drives the development and execution of consumer and trade promotions that support brand objectives, sales goals, and retailer partnerships. This role manages promotional programming across key BOLD brands (including 19 Crimes, Matua, Drop of Sunshine and Squealing Pig), ensuring initiatives are aligned with brand strategies and deliver measurable ROI. The Promotions Manager focuses on translating brand plans into field-ready tools and programs that build brand visibility and stimulate consumer demand.
Responsibilities
Plan & Execute National Promotional Programs
in line with the commercial calendar, brand, and channel strategies, including consumer activations, coupons/offers, sampling, giveaways, tie-in partnerships, and 360° amplification including digital and social media.
Manage point of sale development
(e.g., displays, premiums, neckers, case cards) from concept through production, partnering with brand, creative agencies, vendors and operations.
Lead additional brand opportunities
including launch kits, influencer gifting and custom point of sale.
Performance Analysis : Track program KPIs such as lift over baseline, ROI, compliance rates, and share outcomes with brand & sales teams. Optimize future promotions based on learnings and market insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with Brand Marketing to ensure promotions reinforce brand positioning; partner with Field Marketing and Sales teams to secure buy-in and effective retail execution; coordinate with Marketing Operations on promotional items setup, production and distribution.
Budget Management : Ensure brand promotions align with seasonal budgets during key focus periods in partnership with Brand Marketing and Operations.
Trade & Market Engagement : Support field marketing and sales teams with sell-in tools and education on programs; support management of display incentives; attend market blitzes, distributor meetings, and retailer/vendor meetings as needed.
Apply a strong understanding of brand positioning, objectives and strategies and bring those elements to life in the process of program development: selecting the most compelling consumer offers and promotional mechanics within budget constraints; prioritizing which brands or SKUs receive promotional focus in alignment with commercial objectives; approving final creative & POS designs that balance brand guidelines and retailer requirements; determining which program learnings drive future strategy adjustments; applying analytic insight to decision making; recalibrating delays in program/operations development and deliverables.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing.
5+ years of experience in promotions, trade marketing, or shopper marketing within consumer packaged goods; wine/beer/spirits industry preferred.

Experience partnering with legal/compliance teams; understanding and familiarity of three-tier distribution and alcohol regulatory environment preferred.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
