Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer (Email Marketing - SFMC) Location: Irving, TX (Onsite - 5 days per week at headquarters) Pay: $60-$65/hr (W2, DOE) Duration: ~6-month contract (40 hours per week; possible extension) Introduction The Planet Group is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer with strong expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). This is an onsite role at a major retail corporate headquarters in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in email development, campaign automation, and customer journey design using Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio. Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 4+ years of hands-on experience developing and configuring Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Proficiency with Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Content Builder, and Data Extensions Strong knowledge of segmentation, contact management, and campaign automation best practices Hands-on experience with AMPScript, SSJS, SQL, HTML/CSS, and API integrations Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for technical issues, data errors, and automation failures Familiarity with JIRA or other workflow/project management tools Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with API, ETL, and data integration between SFMC and external systems Knowledge of mobile marketing and SMS campaigns within Marketing Cloud Familiarity with industry best practices in marketing automation and personalization Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions for marketing campaigns Build, test, and optimize campaigns using Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Content Builder Develop custom applications and integrations within SFMC using APIs, AMPScript, SSJS, and SQL Troubleshoot and resolve campaign, automation, and data-related issues within SFMC Monitor campaign performance, optimize workflows, and ensure best practices are applied Collaborate with marketing, data, and technology teams to translate requirements into SFMC solutions Document processes, configurations, and workflows for team use and training Stay current with SFMC features, updates, and industry trends to implement improvements #LI-CW1 #CDM #Onsite
