Fundamental Labs is hiring: Marketing & Content Coordinator in Menlo Park

About the role

Were looking for an early-career Marketing + Content Coordinator to help bring Shortcut, the worlds best Excel AI, to more users.

This role is ideal for a creator with a strong sense of design, great taste in what performs on social, and curiosity about AI-powered tools that speed up creative work.

Youll work closely with the founding team to build a content engine that spans everything from product tutorials to thought-leadership posts to short-form video storytelling for an AI-native product that already has thousands of organic users.

What youll do

• Design and produce visual assets for posts, announcements, events, and campaigns
• Write blog posts and informative tutorial content
• Create and cross-post content across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and other emerging platforms
• Edit and publish short-form videos to explain concepts or highlight launches
• Collaborate with leadership and product to turn complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives
• Maintain our visual and voice style, ensuring everything we share feels cohesive and intentional
• Track content performance and iterate based on engagement and audience insights

Who you are

• Early in your career (student, recent grad, or <3 years experience)
• You have fluency with video editing and tailoring content for a finance-oriented audience
• Understanding of major social platforms: you know what performs and why
• Strong eye for design, layout, and storytelling; you care about aesthetics and clarity
• You use AI tools to speed things up
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-moving environments and can take ideas from 0 ? published

Bonus

• Interest or experience in finance, data, or spreadsheets (many of our users live in them!)
• Basic familiarity with analytics tools or content scheduling platforms
• Experience writing blog posts, tutorials, or educational content
