leading global freight forwarder
thats expanding its Air & Sea division and looking for an experienced
Customs Specialist (Entry Writer)
to join their growing team. If you have a passion for international trade, customs compliance, and keeping goods moving seamlessly across borders - this is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your logistics career.
What youll be doing: Preparing and submitting import/export customs entries and related documentation Classifying goods, verifying tariffs, and ensuring full compliance with U.S. Customs regulations Coordinating with clients, carriers, and government agencies to ensure smooth customs clearance Tracking and monitoring entries to resolve issues or delays Staying current with changing trade laws and customs requirements
What were looking for: 2+ years experience in customs brokerage or import/export documentation Strong working knowledge of ACE or similar customs systems Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Confident communicator
able to collaborate with clients, carriers, and internal teams Experience with bonded warehouse, drawback, or temporary imports a plus
Preferred: Degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, or related field Customs Broker License (or working toward one)
