Communications Manager
Our global Tech client is seeking a Communications Manager to join their team for the next 12 months, 40 hours a week. This role is hybrid onsite three days a week in Redmond, WA. The Communications Manager will lead the development and execution of internal and external communication strategies, streamline documentation systems, and support leadership visibility through high-impact messaging and content. This role requires strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams. Top Must Have Skills: Expertise in managing and auditing document repositories (e.g., Google Drive), including naming conventions, hierarchy, and archival processes. Experience designing and maintaining internal web platforms (e.g., G-Sites, wikis) and coordinating events like symposiums. Proven ability to create and execute communication plans, including crisis comms, recurring updates, and executive-level presentations. Additional Qualifications: Strong partnership skills with leadership; experience as a trusted communications advisor. Background supporting large teams (50+), with diverse comms experience including ghostwriting. Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach. Nice to have: Experience in the tech industry and supporting information systems; ability to bring creativity and enthusiasm to the role. Responsibilities: Oversee and optimize document repositories, including audits, naming conventions, and archival processes. Design and maintain internal communication platforms (G-Site/wiki), identifying key content and stakeholders. Coordinate symposiums and provide end-to-end support for presentations and speeches. Develop unified naming conventions and standardized communication templates. Create and deploy communications for demos, announcements, and leadership updates. Support internal and external communication strategies, including crisis comms and recurring newsletters. Train and support team members in communication best practices. Collaborate with leadership to streamline team-to-team communication and content development. In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
