Marketing / Social Media / Referral Liaison
to join our growing team in the heart of
Philadelphia .
This hybrid role will be key in expanding our hospital's presence in the Philly area, strengthening referral relationships, and showcasing our standout services-including advanced imaging, avian & exotic care, and the work of our surgeon and boarded specialist,
Dr. Samuel Hurcombe .
What You'll Do:
Marketing & Social Media (External Focus) Develop and manage engaging social media content that highlights hospital services, success stories, and community outreach Create and implement marketing campaigns to promote services including: Advanced surgical procedures led by
Dr. Hurcombe, DACVS Avian & exotic pet medicine Diagnostic imaging (CT, ultrasound, etc.) Represent 2nd Street Animal Hospital at local events and veterinary community gatherings Build and maintain relationships with local veterinary practices and pet-related businesses Manage online reputation and respond to reviews/comments with professionalism and care Referral Liaison (Veterinary Community Focus)
Serve as the key point of contact for referring veterinary practices Track and follow up on referral cases to ensure seamless communication and excellent service Deliver educational materials and referral information to local clinics Assist in planning and promoting continuing education (CE) events or info sessions with Dr. Hurcombe and other specialists Client Services (Internal Focus)
Provide excellent customer service as part of the CSR team when needed (e.g., phone calls, check-ins/outs) Assist in patient scheduling and communication, especially for referred or specialty cases Act as a liaison between clients, referring veterinarians, and our medical team You're a Great Fit If You:
Have experience in
marketing, social media management, or public relations
(veterinary or medical field preferred) Love animals and feel comfortable in a clinical/hospital setting Are highly organized, self-motivated, and a natural communicator Understand the power of storytelling and branding to engage an audience Are comfortable speaking with both pet parents and veterinary professionals Can work on-site, travel locally for outreach, and occasionally flex to help on the front desk team Veterinary experience (tech, CSR, or liaison roles) Graphic design, photo/video editing, or content creation skills Knowledge of platforms like Canva, Instagram, Facebook, and email marketing tools Familiarity with referral software or veterinary practice management systems (e.g., ezyVet) Benefits
