Job Responsibilities

- Content Creation and Management: Craft compelling narratives that connect the bank's campaigns and services, community impact and initiatives, and stories of service excellence for various channels, including the website, social media, blogs, newsletters, and marketing materials. Lead communication in public statements related to company news, events, partnerships, milestones, and wins. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather updates and insights. Coordinate content to support marketing campaigns that align with business goals and brand pillars.

- Community Engagement, Event Coordination and Storytelling: Partner with community development officers and team members to highlight community involvement, philanthropic efforts and volunteer events. Create content that showcases the bank's impact, employee engagement, and alignment of the organizational values. Attend and document key community events, gathering stories, photos, and testimonials to use in marketing efforts. Support the planning and execution of community events and sponsorships to maximize community visibility and team engagement. Develop promotional materials, talking points, and post-event coverage for internal and external use.

- Social Media Management: Design, build, and maintain the bank's social media presence. Develop and manage a comprehensive content calendar for all communication channels, including social media. Write and schedule social media posts for various audiences across platforms as applicable, aligning content with brand voice and current campaigns. Analyze and report metrics to determine success and maximize engagement.

- Website Management and SEO Implementation: Manage all entity websites from development to compliance and analytics. Apply search engine optimization tactics to drive traffic to , , and other digital brand sites. Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all content.

- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze marketing metrics and KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI. Develop reports and make data-driven recommendations.

- Professional Development: Maintain knowledge in banking and digital marketing and demonstrate positive interpersonal behavior and communication skills with customers and employees. Stay updated with the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to keep the marketing strategies fresh and competitive.

Job Skills and Qualifications Required

- Proven ability to create compelling narratives for a variety of digital and print channels, including social media, blogs, websites, and marketing materials.

- Strong skills in tracking and analyzing marketing metrics (KPIs) and using data to make actionable, strategic recommendations.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.

- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn position-related software, including digital marketing tools and platforms.

- Ability to effectively use general office equipment.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a digital marketing, content creation, or public relations role, preferably within the financial services industry.

- Experience with social media management platforms, content management systems (CMS), and applying Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.

- Experience in planning, executing, and documenting community events and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility.

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. (preferred) Financial services experience. (a plus)

Hours

Will average approximately 40 hours per week. This position is budgeted for 2,080 hours per year.
