The Creative Director elevates and safeguards Parkhills visual identity, ensuring every design output reflects the firms creativity, polish, and professionalism. More than maintaining templates, this role drives the creative vision that positions Parkhill as a design-forward, client-focused firm. The Creative Director ensures Parkhills external brand presence and client-facing deliverables meet the same level of design excellence that defines our work in the built environment. This is a full-time, exempt position paid on a salary basis.

Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest. We have 14 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

Responsibilities
  • Set the creative vision for Parkhills brand expression across print, digital, and experiential platforms.
  • Elevate design outputs from functional to compelling, ensuring Parkhills materials stand shoulder-to-shoulder with industry leaders.
  • Direct and mentor the design team (graphic designers, production, studio artist) to deliver polished, brand-forward creative at scale.
  • Oversee and deliver design for web, social, events, internal communications, pursuits, and marketing collateral, ensuring consistency, clarity, and design excellence.
  • Translate complex technical ideas into powerful visual stories, incorporating input from architecture, engineering, and construction leaders.
  • Lead the development of refined templates, graphics systems, and presentation standards that reinforce Parkhills design credibility.
  • Monitor design trends in AEC, branding, and professional services marketing, adapting strategies to keep Parkhills image modern and differentiated.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
  • 810 years of progressive creative design and leadership experience, preferably in professional services or AEC.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to elevate brand presence through compelling, strategic design.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud and presentation design; familiarity with digital platforms a plus.
  • Proven leadership skills in directing teams, managing brand systems, and engaging senior stakeholders with design authority.
