- Position Salary: $50,818 $58,552 per year (starting salary based on education, training, experience, skills)

Responsibilities
- Write engaging, accurate and succinct content for the LLCC website to promote the colleges programs and services; collaborate with website content reviewers and edit for accuracy, ADA compliance, and AP style.
- Proactively monitor the website daily for errors, ADA compliance and SEO issues; perform annual content audits.
- Create, write and post engaging content for LLCCs social media accounts appropriate to each platform; compile regular engagement reports and lead weekly social media meetings with CCO, director of communications and PRM assistant.
- Maintain list of all LLCC social media accounts and administrators, monitor activity, accuracy and digital accessibility; store passwords in PRMs secure system.
- Assess new social media account requests, set up accounts and train administrators; assist with account recovery and deletion.
- Take event photos, film, edit and caption social media videos and design basic social media graphics.
- Collaborate with PRM assistant to create weekly social media plan; involve PRM student workers in planning and content creation.
- Author and update college?wide social media guidelines and best practices; research trends and accessibility features.
- Proofread using AP Style and distribute PRM press releases via email; proofread publications including FORWARD magazine, brochures and flyers; prepare ADA compliant PDFs for website posting.
- Assist with planning, implementation and post?event evaluation of PRM events.
- Supervise PRM student worker(s) and assign duties, including photography/videography and mailings.
- Assist in the college planning and assessment program by developing annual work unit objectives that impact long?range priority goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Assist with writing and proofing of publications, including FORWARD magazine.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in communication, English, marketing or related field by start date.
- Experience writing and editing original content for the web and multiple social media platforms.
- Experience with a website content management system.
- Computer competency and ability to use MS Office and other software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AP style, Google Analytics, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and Search Engine Optimization.
- Computer competency in Adobe Acrobat and other software.
