What Youll Do

  • Market Leadership & Strategy: Define and articulate the Pure Storage value proposition for the Financial Services sector. Conduct in-depth market research to identify key trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes specific to banking, insurance, capital markets, and FinTech. Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including target audience segmentation, messaging, and sales enablement plans tailored for Financial Services.
  • Compelling Content Creation: Craft engaging and persuasive content, including solution briefs, whitepapers, presentations, website copy, sales playbooks, and case studies, showcasing how Pure Storage addresses the unique challenges and mandates of Financial Services organizations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling Financial Services-specific demos and solution architectures.
  • Sales Enablement & Empowerment: Equip our Financial Services sales teams with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to confidently position Pure Storage solutions. Deliver enablement focused sales plays, impactful training sessions, and sales collateral.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with our Financial Services team to capture business priorities based on sector requirements and feedback. Work hand-in-hand with Growth Marketing to execute integrated campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives targeting Financial Services. Collaborate with our Financial Services sales leadership to identify and pursue key opportunities.
  • Thought Leadership & Advocacy: Represent Pure Storage at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements focused on the Financial Services sector. Evangelize Pure's solutions, share customer success stories, and contribute to Pure's reputation as a trusted partner in Financial Services.

What You Bring
  • 7+ years of product marketing experience, with a strong focus on enterprise software or hardware solutions. Storage experience is a big plus.
  • Proven experience in the Financial Services market (banking, quan/hedge, insurance, FinTech), understanding its unique compliance requirements, regulatory environments, and solution needs.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to create compelling and concise messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies and compelling narratives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • A collaborative spirit and proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product management, and corporate marketing teams.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA or New York, NY office in compliance with Pures policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.


Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity. The Annual Base Salary Range is $176,000$265,000 USD.
