Job Summary:

Microsoft is seeking a creative and driven marketing professional to join their team as a Marketing Manager on a contract basis. This role focuses on shaping and communicating the Microsoft for Startups messaging, positioning, and brand strategy, while collaborating with various teams to ensure consistent marketing assets.

Responsibilities:

Support the development and refinement of messaging frameworks that articulate the value of Microsoft for Startups to founders, investors, and ecosystem partners.

Support storytelling initiatives that elevate the brand narrative across digital, social, and partner channels.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent voice and tone across all marketing assets.

Own and drive messaging projects from concept to execution, including briefs, decks, and marketing content.

Support the creation of founder-facing messaging that resonates with startup audiences and aligns with our strategic goals.

Partner with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and feedback that inform messaging strategy.

Qualifications:

Required:

5-7 overall years of experience in the field.

5+ years of direct experience in brand strategy, messaging development, and storytellingpreferably in tech or startup ecosystems.

Exceptional writing, storytelling, and communication skills with a knack for simplifying complex ideas.

Ability to distill complex technical or business concepts into clear, persuasive messaging.

Proven ability to craft compelling narratives, including customer success stories, from initial research through to polished content.

Experience in creating marketing collateral such as one-pagers, case studies, and talk tracks for both internal and external audiences.

Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and leadership potential.

Comfortable taking initiative and driving projects forward with minimal oversight.

Passionate about startups, innovation, and the impact of technology.
