This high-impact role sits at the intersection of strategy, marketing, and R&Dperfect for a creative and analytical thinker whos ready to own innovation from concept to launch.

Position Summary: The Brand and Innovation Marketing Manager will lead our innovation strategy and new product pipeline to help us create new products, services, and processes that meet the needs of our customers and the market. This role will be responsible, on the marketing team, for developing and implementing innovation strategies, managing innovation projects, and partnering with cross-functional teams to create products that meet the needs of our consumers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare 3-year innovation strategy grounded in consumer insights to determine where NIC is headed, aligned with the companys vision, mission, and goals
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of new products in the market
  • Conduct market research and analysis, and keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in the industry and the competitive landscape
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities for innovation, such as new markets, new products, new services, new processes, or new partnerships
  • Generate and protect intellectual property, such as patents, trademarks, or trade secrets, and support the legal and regulatory compliance of the innovation activities
  • Partner with R&D to optimize formulations and processes to achieve desired performance and quality attributes
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as Operations, Marketing, Sales and Finance and customers, to ensure alignment of the innovation strategy and execution
  • Prepare marketing plan to execute on launch date
  • Evaluate positioning of current products/brands and evolve for stronger long-term growth
  • Develop compelling claims based on consumers needs and gaps in the marketplace
Education and Experience
  • BA/BS in marketing, MBA preferred
  • 5 - 7 years marketing experience
  • Must have CPG experience, dietary supplement industry a plus
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics and tools to measure and optimize brand performance
  • Deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform brand strategies
  • Proven experience in using AI tools and technologies in marketing
  • Experience in leading development of innovation through a stage gate process with a cross-functional team
