JobRack is hiring: Creative Manager in Town of Poland
JobRack, Town of Poland, NY, United States
About the Role
We’re looking for a talented and proactive Creative Manager to lead and execute all visual content for Brutus & Barnaby. You’ll combine strong graphic design skills with an eye for marketing optimization—creating compelling visuals that drive conversions across Amazon, Chewy, and other eCommerce platforms.
This is a full-time, fully remote role. You will take ownership of our visual identity, manage creative projects from concept to delivery, and help shape how customers experience our brand online.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce high‑quality creative assets for Amazon, Chewy, and other sales channels (product images, infographics, packaging, A+ content).
- Apply marketing and conversion principles to visuals—optimizing for performance, not just aesthetics.
- Use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Midjourney) to brainstorm, test, and improve creative concepts.
- Create and edit short‑form video clips (e.g., Chewy product videos or social snippets).
- Collaborate with Debbie (co‑founder) for creative direction and approvals.
- Manage project timelines, asset organization, and freelance design support when needed.
- Maintain brand consistency and update brand guidelines as the company evolves.
Working Hours
The role is full‑time, with working hours from 12 pm–9 pm CET (one hour lunch break), ensuring overlap with 9 am–6 pm EST.
About You / Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands‑on graphic design experience, ideally in eCommerce or Amazon/Shopify brands.
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent.
- Experience creating optimized Amazon A+ content, image stacks, and product creatives.
- Comfortable using AI tools for idea generation and creative improvement.
- Experience designing short‑form videos or motion graphics (bonus).
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple design projects.
- Excellent written English and attention to detail in text placement and copy layout.
- Familiarity with Chewy.com and its ad formats.
- Understanding of conversion‑oriented design principles.
- Love for dogs and pets.
Why Join Us
We’re a small, tight‑knit team that values creativity, impact, and purpose. If you love pets, creative design, and testing new ideas with AI, you’ll fit right in.
Benefits
- 20 days paid time off and 5 sick days.
- Remote independent contractor position.
Applicants must be happy to work remotely as an independent contractor and understand that the salary is gross; tax‑related procedures are the applicant’s responsibility.
