Library Assistant (Paraprofessional - 3-hours per day)

Position Information: Hours Per Day: 3; Days Per Week: M-F; Work Calendar: 181 Days + Paid Holidays (RSD Work Calendars); Pay Level: RESP 1; Current Salary Schedule: $29.36–$34.17 per hour based on years of experience.
Salary will increase by 2.5% for the 2025‑26 school year above what is shown in the current salary schedule.
Experience for work in public schools will be granted for prior classroom experience for paraeducator positions or for prior office experience for office.
We are seeking qualified paraeducators to support students in our school library. Please see attached job description for additional details.
Paraeducator Minimum Qualifications
- A copy of high school diploma AND
- Documentation of one of the following:
- A copy of official college transcript indicating an AA degree or higher OR
- 72 quarter or 48 semester credits earned in 100 level and higher courses OR
- Official documentation of a passing score on the ETS ParaPro assessment or Master Class assessment (If you would like information about scheduling an assessment, please contact Human Resources at 425.204.2356)
