Position Information

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Public Relations Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications, this entry-level role will support a wide range of PR initiatives, including events and activations, influencer and editor outreach, press material development and product seeding. The coordinator will also manage sample inventory, track media coverage, and assist in building meaningful relationships that help elevate our brand presence.

Position Responsibilities

Measurement & Reporting

  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date library of documents and assets via SharePoint.
  • Track and monitor media coverage across short- and long-lead publications using Muck Rack; compile monthly press coverage recaps for both North America and Global Communications teams.
  • Compile and distribute weekly press highlights and influencer efforts to key stakeholders.
  • Assist in tracking departmental budgets by managing monthly spend reports and organizing receipts and vendor documentation.

Events & Activations

  • Support team in the ideation, planning, execution and reporting of brand events, press previews, influencer activations, and experiential moments.

Organic Media Relations

  • Assist in maintaining the master pitch calendar and media list, continued outreach/pitching and status tracking/organizing feedback.
  • Proactively contribute pitch ideas that align with brand priorities, cultural moments and new product launches.
  • Research and build new relationships with key media contacts.
  • Draft and distribute press materials and media pitches.

Influencer Relations

  • Utilize Tribe Dynamics for seeding, mailing and outreach needs.
  • Prepare and execute all launch seeding in a timely manner.
  • Support influencer discovery and outreach, with a focus on cultivating relationships with nano and micro creators who align with the brand’s values.
  • Manage the workflow for receiving and organizing influencer content for paid amplification or owned usage.

Product Sampling Management

  • Own day-to-day management of the PR closet, including organization, inventory tracking, and product restocking.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels ahead of all product launches and key moments; place orders for additional samples as needed.
  • Coordinate all shipping logistics for press, influencer, and event-related product send-outs.
  • Maintain operational efficiency and cleanliness within the PR closet to support seamless execution of seeding and gifting efforts.

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months relevant and applicable experience.
  • Ability to be in the office 3 days a week.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a communications field.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and problem-solve proactively.
  • High level attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize your workload and keep to strict deadlines.
  • Passionate about the beauty/skincare industry.
  • Team player with a collaborative spirit.
  • Efficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
