Job Overview
The (Sr.) SEO Analyst evaluates client properties to ensure alignment with SEO best practices, develops recommendations, and evaluates program performance over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides competitive and market opportunity analyses related to search intent, competitor niche saturation, backlink profiles, and SERP anomalies.
- Performs keyword research for multiple segments of a client’s website.
- Conducts website audits and develops recommendations to ensure SEO best practice compliance.
- Prepares findings from analysis and effectively communicates to internal stakeholders by telling the story within the data in a digestible format for the audience.
- Monitors performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Adobe Analytics, proprietary tools, and others as needed.
- Develops reports leveraging Excel, Google Sheets, and DataStudio.
- Executes ad hoc requests as needed, ensuring a comprehensive view of the issue and potential solutions by providing an appropriate level of detail and creative thinking.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, concentration in Marketing or a related field.
- Professional work experience in a related role is preferred.
- Ability to understand search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate and deliver reports or recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven success in utilizing analytics platforms and data to provide strategic recommendations and drive concrete action against business goals.
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Proven ability to interact successfully with cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships.
- Comfortable functioning in spaces with high ambiguity and adapting easily to changing environments.
- Keen attention to detail is essential to ensure thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency in project completion.
Pay Transparency
Salary range: $59,000 to $89,000. This range is based on market pay across the United States; a multiplier applies based on the specific geographic location of a candidate.
