Role Summary
Your primary responsibility is to uphold showroom aesthetics and ensure alignment with company visual standards. You will create impactful displays, manage product transitions, and maximize floor space through strategic placement. Additionally, you will handle inventory control, RFID tagging, and coordinate with sales and merchandising teams.
Responsibilities
- Merchandise the showroom – daily reset, spatial planning, product transitions, markdowns.
- Place & replenish home accents – receive, unpack, tag, and display accessories and wall décor.
- Inventory control – track RFID tags, review variances, manage purchase orders.
- Support sales – collaborate with GM, provide product info, coordinate pricing and tagging.
- Collaboration – attend visual team meetings, contribute to showroom setup and project coordination.
- Adhere to all role-specific standard work and responsibilities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum one year visual merchandising experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Strong visual and spatial planning skills.
- Proactive, multitasking, teamwork, and relationship management abilities.
- Inventory and logistics knowledge.
- Product placement and space planning expertise.
- Change receptivity and sense of urgency.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (limited night/weekend hours).
- 40 hours per week, full time.
- Travel may be required for multiple showrooms, showroom remerchandising projects, and new store openings.
- Personal cell phone use must be minimal.
Physical Requirements
- Work in retail furniture showroom and warehouse environment.
- Stand/walk for extended periods.
- Lift up to 45 lbs (including ladders).
Technology Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Google Suite.
- Apple iPad and required applications.
- General PC knowledge.
- AS400 knowledge preferred.
- RFID inventory Zebra tagging equipment knowledge preferred.
- Understanding of CAD drawings.
Certifications / Licenses
- Valid Florida driver’s license.
