Senior Analyst, Sales Compensation Design – MedTech Surgery
Location: Cincinnati, OH or Raritan, NJ. Travel: up to 10% domestic travel.
Pay and Benefits Base pay range: $77,000 – $124,200 per year.

Paid time off includes approximately 120 hours of vacation, 40 hours of sick time, 13 floating holidays, 40 hours of personal and family time, 480 hours of parental leave, 30 days of condolence leave, 10 days of caregiver leave, 4 days of volunteer leave and 80 hours of military spouse time‑off.
Responsibilities
Build and validate forecast modeling and advanced statistical analyses across complex data sets to shape compensation design and quota allocation decisions.
Leverage AI, automated learning, machine learning technologies to illustrate performance trends and compensation forecasting.
Develop quota setting methods using predictive analytics, forecast modeling, and advanced statistical analysis.
Create and validate strategies to drive sales behavior key to achieving strategic business objectives and financial commitments.
Collaborate with Compensation and Execution stakeholders on deliverables.
Partner with Director Compensation – MedTech Surgery, Compensation Analysts, and Data Integrity Analysts to design compensation plans, quotas, predictive analytics, and performance metrics.
Align compensation plans with J&J philosophy, monitor plan effectiveness through statistical analysis, and plan/ configure data systems for successful delivery.
Partner with IT and Systems teams to measure impact, develop resolution roadmaps, and deliver payout and performance metrics.
Support cross‑functional and cross‑sector projects beyond MedTech Surgery as needed.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required.
3‑5 years of data analytics, commercial operations, or finance experience strongly preferred.
Medical device or pharmaceutical experience preferred.
Statistical analysis, data analytics, and systems programming/coding skills preferred.
Experience with AI, automated learning, and machine learning preferred.
Experience supporting field sales organizations and sales compensation programs for team‑based forces preferred.
Budget management experience preferred.
Leadership, strategic thinking, collaboration, strong communication and influencing skills required.
Proficiency in advanced Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python preferred.
Ability to work in a matrix organization preferred.
