Located 25 mi north of Manhattan in Westchester County, our 94‑bed inpatient facility provides a supportive environment for clinicians and families.
Position Overview We seek a licensed, creative, compassionate Art Therapist to join our growing Creative Arts Team. You will facilitate group and individual interventions for patients, residents, and families, collaborating with the larger Therapeutic & Developmental Support Services team (Therapeutic Recreation, Child Life, Music Therapy).
Responsibilities
Facilitate scheduled group program for inpatient population and long‑term care residents.
Co‑facilitate group interventions within the Therapeutic & Developmental Support Services team.
Navigate a referral‑based approach to individual session outreach.
Qualifications
Minimum one year of experience working in a pediatric setting in your area of expertise.
Master’s Degree in Creative Arts or Art Therapy from an accredited school.
Licensed as an LCAT (Licensed Creative Arts Therapist) and/or eligible for license.
Art Therapy Credentials Board Certified (ATR‑BC) is helpful.
Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, and transfer children and equipment.
Ability to meet flexible scheduling demands and patient care needs.
