As Design Manager, Apparel, you will:
Oversee the entire lifecycle of apparel product design, from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with brand identity and market trends.
Manage and direct the apparel design team, planning for future needs, performance, and development.
Oversee workload and deliverables across multiple projects and seasons simultaneously.
Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of all design outputs.
Partner cross-functionally with product development, merchandising, and marketing teams to drive collaboration and consistency across categories.
Champion design vision and business goals, ensuring feasibility through the supply chain.
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement forward-looking solutions.
Communicate regularly with Design Leadership on category direction, creative strategy, and execution.
Who we’re searching for / About you:
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Master’s degree preferred).
1–3 years of management experience or proven leadership as a design lead.
Strong background in apparel design and development with deep knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
Skilled in patternmaking, construction, and translating creative concepts into production-ready designs.
Excellent hand-sketching and conceptual communication skills.
Experience collaborating with global cross-functional teams and working with factories on development issues.
A proactive problem solver with a strong sense of aesthetic, innovation, and team leadership.
