Interior Design Operations / Project Manager
KB Studio, Inc. is a full-service Interior Design firm specializing in high-end residential design and ground-up construction projects. Our firm is based in Brentwood and has projects in Los Angeles, Aspen, Sonoma, and abroad. We strive to provide exceptional service to our clients by creating timeless, tailored interiors that pay attention to every detail.
We are currently looking to enhance our team with an experienced Interior Design Operations / Project Manager. This is an ideal position for a dynamic individual who is diligent, organized and strives to produce excellent work.
This full-time position has a salary range of $75,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience. We also offer qualified candidates a PTO, paid holiday and bonus packages.
Support Principal in managing interior construction and furnishing projects from concept to completion with high proficiency - ensuring the accuracy, timely installation, and quality of the overall design process.
Manage all incoming/outgoing payments, invoices, and Purchase Orders using Studio Designer Software and provide accurate financial reports for Principle.
Create and maintain client budgets, track and invoice for time billing, expenses, etc.
Work in collaboration with Book Keeper to ensure all accounts are reconciled and all financials are up to date and accurate on a regular basis.
Track and manage all company related expenses, overhead and deadlines for business filings.
Maintain and lead project management across all projects through Studio Designer and Google Drive to conduct task delegation to ensure efficient workflow.
Manage all phases of custom furniture and soft good production, including creating work orders, workroom visits, and quality control.
Prepare and document schematic plans and construction/design documents (furniture schedules, etc). Facilitate outsourcing of design deliverables where necessary.
Assist with on-site installations and site visits, working closely and effectively with vendors and contractors.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Certificate Preferred
2+ years of experience in Interior Design Project Management
Experience with Data & Project Management through Studio Designer or similar software
Highly organized with communication skills and a basic understanding of industry standards are essential.
Basic knowledge of Interior Design functions, construction documents, and production procedures/terminology.
Must have a valid driver's license, own a reliable vehicle, and currently reside in the Los Angeles area.
