Short Description Use your professional social media skills to help save lives. Let’s Save The Strays International provides free spay, neuter, and rabies vaccination programs in Myanmar, where rabies kills thousands of animals and children each year. Help share our story and make a global impact from home.
Full Description In Myanmar, millions of stray dogs and cats live without food, shelter, or medical care. Because most are not sterilized, their numbers keep growing. Rabies, spread mostly by dogs, kills both animals and children by the thousands every year. This is not just an animal welfare issue. It is a public health crisis.
At Let’s Save The Strays International (LSTSI), we are working to change that. Our Burmese veterinary teams provide free spay and neuter surgeries and rabies vaccinations, and we teach schoolchildren how to live safely and kindly with animals. This is a true One Health mission that protects both people and animals.
We are an all-volunteer nonprofit based in the United States, and every role matters. We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator or Manager who already works in social media or digital marketing and wants to use their skills for good. From your own home, you can help us tell the stories of the animals and people we serve, build awareness, and inspire global action.
Responsibilities
Plan, create, and schedule posts for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Collect photos, stories, and updates from our veterinary teams in Myanmar
Manage our content calendar and support donor initiatives such as our Stray Guardians Circle
Track engagement and recommend ways to improve our reach
Work with our small U.S. volunteer team to strengthen our online presence
Qualifications
At least two years of professional experience managing social media for a nonprofit, brand, or business
Excellent writing and communication skills with a good eye for visuals
Experience using Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
A genuine passion for animal welfare, storytelling, and global public health
What You’ll Gain
A meaningful way to use your professional skills to make a real difference
The chance to work with an inspiring, all-volunteer international team
Flexible hours and the opportunity to create content that saves lives
The satisfaction of knowing your work helps fight rabies and bring hope to animals and people in Myanmar
