What You Can Expect
In this role you will be at the forefront of evolving Zoom Customer Experience products, designing the Zoom Contact Center to elevate user experience across desktop, mobile, and tablet platforms. Responsibilities
Translate strategy into impactful design solutions that enhance customer experiences.
Tackle complex design challenges using user‑centered principles, evolving patterns, and new interaction approaches.
Define problems, validate hypotheses, and deliver high‑quality design solutions across platforms independently or collaboratively.
Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Research partners to ensure thoughtful implementation and cohesive user experiences.
Create and maintain clear, comprehensive design documentation that communicates intent and supports development.
Conduct and support user research activities—usability testing, journey mapping, stakeholder interviews—to uncover insights and inform decisions.
Offer feedback and informal mentorship to junior designers, fostering growth and collaboration.
Raise potential design or user‑experience risks to design leads or product partners and contribute thoughtful solutions.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience designing intuitive, user‑centered digital experiences that solve complex challenges across multiple platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven ability to translate strategy into impactful design solutions aligned with business objectives.
Expertise in applying user‑centered design principles, evolving patterns, and exploring new interaction and visual design approaches.
Experience defining problems, validating hypotheses, and delivering high‑quality design solutions independently or with others.
Strong collaboration with cross‑functional partners to ensure thoughtful implementation and cohesive user experiences.
Informal mentorship to junior designers.
Skill in identifying potential design or user‑experience risks and contributing to discussions and solutions.
Experience conducting or supporting user research activities such as usability testing and journey mapping.
Minimum No explicit minimum qualifications beyond those listed above.
Salary Range On‑target earnings:
$98,900.00
–
$228,700.00
(Total Direct Compensation includes base salary, bonus, and equity value. Starting pay depends on qualifications and experience.)
