The Role We’re looking for a creative and energetic
Internal Communication Specialist
to build Tabby’s communications function from scratch.
This role builds connection and alignment across Tabby by driving clear, transparent, and engaging communication. You’ll craft our internal voice, design how we share company stories, and make sure everyone feels informed, aligned, and part of the journey. You’ll work closely with Leadership, People, and Product teams to plan, write, and deliver content that reflects Tabby’s culture — and makes complex updates clear, engaging, and fun.
Key Responsibilities
Build our internal comms strategy from the ground up
Design Tabby’s internal communications framework – channels, tone, and cadence
Implement communication plans for performance reviews, budget planning, and internal processes
Create and own our internal brand – how we show up inside the company
Run our communication channels & content calendar
Set up and manage internal comms tools (Slack, Notion, newsletters, intranet, etc.)
Plan and publish regular company-wide updates – All-hands, product newsletters, leadership messages
Support major People initiatives (e.g., performance review, surveys, global updates) with clear, timely communication
Create engaging, visual content
Write compelling copy and design supporting visuals (posts, videos, decks, etc.)
Partner with teams to promote initiatives, events, and milestones
Continuously research and test new ideas to make internal comms more effective
Support cross-company communication moments
Coordinate communication for company events and celebrations
Help leaders deliver messages that are clear, human, and authentic
Measure engagement and continuously improve communication practices
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Native-level English fluency and exceptional copywriting skills
Experience in internal or corporate communications (preferably in high-growth or global organizations)
Strong communication planning skills – you know what, when, and why to tell a story
Comfortable producing videos, posts, or creative decks
Proactive, resourceful, and eager to experiment – you love building from zero
Energetic, extroverted personality with a natural flair for connecting people
Preferably: Ability to create visual content (Figma, Canva, or similar)
