Probation Department

Probation Officer IIIs
who perform a variety of complex, specialized functions relative to the investigation, surveillance, supervision, and rehabilitation of adult and juvenile probationers and Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS). Probation Officer IIIs work on special assignments such as coordinating and training probation officers in the area of assignment; acting as safety officer; performing personnel investigations; conducting new employee background investigations; performing program evaluations; planning and implementing department projects; making presentations to community groups; and serving on participative management work groups/committees.
