Are you a creative and tech-savvy volunteer to support social media presence.
As a Social Media Assistant, you’ll help share our mission, engage with our community, and promote events and initiatives through platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube and LinkedIn, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and schedule engaging posts across social media platforms.
Assist in developing content calendars and campaign ideas.
Monitor comments and messages, responding or flagging as needed.
Track engagement metrics and suggest improvements.
Help design graphics or source images (using tools like Canva or similar).
Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with major social media platforms.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Basic graphic design skills are a plus (Canva, Adobe Spark, etc.).
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Passion for our mission and a positive, collaborative attitude.
Flexible hours and may work from home after training and competency established.
