LOVEPAWS, a 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue based in Maryland is seeking passionate volunteers to join our fundraising team to lead grant research & writing. The role is fully remote and can be done on your own schedule. Requirements Nonprofit grant research and writing experience Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with deadlines Strong communication skills, you will be part of team working to meet our fundraising goals Commitment to the mission - we hope you're passionate about helping animals in need! This role can be done fully remotely, so volunteers can be based anywhere in the U.S. Ability to work on Eastern time is ideal. Support for our fundraising efforts has never been more critical. Federal funding to nonprofits has been cut, and we're seeing this at our local level. For example, we had a $5k grant from PG County Council that was tentatively awarded to us that was rescinded. Additionally, we were disappointed to learn that this year’s 2025 Combined Federal Campaign was paused just one month before it’s kickoff. Previously, CFC provided steady, monthly income that we can no longer rely on. We can't keep saving lives without the proper resources.
