Job Summary The Director of Sales and Marketing for Neurology Rare Disease will spearhead brand strategy and commercial planning for our forthcoming Rare Disease launch in neurology. This pivotal role involves fostering healthcare professional (HCP) and patient engagement, analyzing the intricate journey to diagnosis, leading account teams, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive success. The individual will provide strategic and operational guidance, coaching account team leaders to ensure effective patient engagement and achievement of business goals. This role includes the oversight of national and regional business strategies aimed at meeting and exceeding Net Sales, Operating Income, and patient engagement targets. Primary Responsibilities Lead the creation and implementation of brand strategy Establish strong relationships with patient associations and healthcare providers to enhance diagnosis accuracy and urgency Develop targeted educational and support resources for account engagement teams Identify customer needs proactively and leverage key insights for strategy development Ensure marketing processes align with corporate guidance and uphold regulatory and ethical standards Collaborate effectively with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Market Access, Market Research, and Legal teams to shape brand strategies and tactics Engage with the Market Access Strategy Team to evaluate reimbursement policies Partner with Finance to track expenditure against budgets while ensuring timely project delivery Oversee the execution of business strategies for account team leaders to enhance customer experience and patient outcomes Shape regional business plans with account leads and commercial leadership Regularly assess KPIs and business outcomes, analyzing trends to optimize strategies Develop innovative customer engagement strategies in collaboration with the Rare Disease Business Unit Head Create business strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance customer experiences Provide strategic direction to account teams, ensuring successful execution of sales and operational plans Implement operational best practices tailored to local customer needs Offer consistent coaching and development to field teams to maximize individual and organizational effectiveness Champion initiatives to enhance customer-facing operations Maintain tracking of key performance metrics Support broader business and commercial objectives Build relationships with stakeholders to effectively implement business plans maximizing patient access and health outcomes Recognize and reward performance through incentives and recognition programs Collaborate on revenue and profit goals aligned with long-term organizational objectives Work with the Rare Disease Business Unit Head to develop talent within the organization for succession planning Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in business, science, or related field; MBA or related graduate degree preferred 15+ years in commercial life sciences (pharma or biotech) with experience engaging healthcare ecosystem stakeholders 10+ years in pharmaceutical marketing or product management 5+ years in rare disease marketing or product management Experience with genetic testing or Early Access Programs is highly desirable Strong account management background that includes developing strategic plans for health systems Deep understanding of infused therapies and associated commercialization Demonstrated success in fostering a positive and engaged team culture Ability to synthesize complex information to discern insights and patterns Experience managing a complex P&L with robust financial acumen Exceptional skills in coaching and mentoring colleagues Proven track record in leading organizational change initiatives Comprehensive understanding of legal and regulatory compliance in the industry Competencies Accountability for Results:

Minimum $245,454.00 - Maximum $381,110.00, plus incentive opportunity. Note that actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, and internal equity. Company Benefits:
