Digital Media Production, Adjunct faculty are needed to teach Media Literacy, Media and Video Production, Digital Filmmaking, and Editing for day, evening, weekend, and/or online classes.
Location: Catonsville, Dundalk & Essex Campuses.
Compensation: Level 1 – $1,085 per credit hour.
Responsibilities
Facilitate learning via preparation and delivery of instruction.
Cooperate with College support staff in timely submission of materials and grades.
Coordinate activities with the Program Director or Coordinator.
Abide by College-wide policies and procedures regarding classroom conduct.
Employ a variety of teaching strategies to meet a diverse student population.
Adhere to scheduled time of class/lab.
Develop a course syllabus in keeping with program and College policies.
Ensure program-specific evaluation methods are administered and completed consistently and equitably.
Monitor student performance regularly and provide feedback within a reasonable timeframe.
Minimum Requirements
Master’s Degree in Electronic Media and Film, Digital Media Production, or Video Production; or Bachelor’s Degree and seven years of professional experience plus a portfolio.
Two (2) years of teaching experience.
Experience using classroom technology and learning management systems preferred.
Proficient computer skills and Microsoft applications knowledge.
Prior college teaching experience preferred.
Working knowledge of screenplay writing and formatting preferred.
