Sr Principal Media Production Analyst

to join our

Melbourne, FL

Creative Operations team of qualified, highly engaged, and enthusiastic communications professionals to tell the story of the products, missions, and people we support.

Roles And Responsibilities

Prepare to thrive in a highly active environment that demands collaboration, innovative thinking, creative storytelling, and the use of digital tools to effectively communicate to employees, customers, the public, industry, stakeholders, and others.

Have at least 8 years of work experience in videography, photography, and editing, extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office platform, and the ability to work on Mac and PC operating systems. Infuse new ideas and techniques that elevate the brand image through creative projects. Serve as a strategic communications partner and demonstrate experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Consult with stakeholders to determine appropriate media, plan production, and produce media that includes storyboarding, location scouting, shot selection, video capture, music and sound effect selection, graphics, animation/digital effects, and final editing. May act as liaison with vendors to ensure scheduling, costs, and quality requirements are met.

Strive for customer satisfaction and a strategic communications partnership. Demonstrate a creative mind to work with colleagues in the business and bring ideas to life. Thrive while working on multiple projects, performing to tight deadlines, paying attention to detail, and possessing solid communication, design, and time‑management skills.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience in video production, fine arts, or a related field OR Master’s degree and 6 years of experience.

Experience operating a variety of standard and special‑purpose still and video cameras, including DSLR still cameras.

Experienced user of the Adobe Creative Suite applications: Photoshop, Bridge, Premier Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder.

Customer service experience and the ability to work independently and collaboratively on a multimedia team.

Overtime, including weekend support, may be required.

Candidate must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance updated within the last 5 years, as well as the ability to obtain a Program Special access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. Continued employment is contingent on the applicant’s ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance and special program access.

Travel will be required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience coordinating and directing the execution of creative assignments for advertising, news, publicity, and or technical use.

Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.

Experience working on motion graphics and animations.

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,100.00 - $147,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice‑President or Director positions may be eligible for Long‑Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company‑paid holidays, and paid time off for vacation and or personal business.
