Marketing-Communications Coordinator – REMOTE Job Purpose

The marketing coordinator supports the sales and network development efforts through proactive, strategic marketing and communication tactics designed to generate brand awareness, product promotion and potential client engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage social media platforms: work with internal sales and communications teams to create a strategy for social media campaigns designed to generate brand awareness, drive traffic to the website, and increase sales leads from the life sciences and healthcare industries using available software tools. Manage timelines and provide measurable results of campaign efforts.

Support company goals and objectives: work with the administrative team to provide support for strategic initiatives including presentations, use case development, newsletters, news releases, and other collateral material as needed.

Market Research: conduct basic market research to understand the competitive environment and trends. Communicate findings to executive leadership and use findings in strategy development.

Website maintenance: provide basic website maintenance with fresh, updated content; provide website metrics reporting and strategies based on metrics.

Trade Show Management: coordinate trade show strategies such as exhibits, attendee roles, pre‑ and post‑marketing efforts, and onsite meetings.

Refine messaging: work with internal teams to create clear, concise, understandable messaging focused on company sales and growth goals to include social media communications/ads, website content, and presentation materials.

Metrics: collect metrics for appropriate campaigns and strategies, determine success level and adjust efforts based on the data.

Qualifications

Digital marketing knowledge of social media management, email marketing, content marketing and basic SEO principles

Software proficiency

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) – HubSpot

Microsoft Office Suite

Exceptional writing skills – ability to distill complex topics into clear, easily understood messages for social media, website, use cases and presentations

Basic knowledge of editing software

Project management/Organizational Skills

Communications skills – internal and external audiences

Understanding of healthcare data is a plus

Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in marketing or related field

Two years experience in a marketing role

Working Conditions

Day shift with standard working hours (8 AM – 5 PM) with the ability to work extended hours including nights and weekends.

Limited travel required.
