Job Location Open to US Remote Candidates.

Job Summary As a Jr. SEO Specialist, you’ll support the Sr. SEO Specialist in developing and executing SEO strategies that drive measurable growth for our clients. Your days will involve researching keywords, optimizing on‑page content, managing link‑building initiatives, and tracking performance across tools like GA4, Google Search Console, and Bing Webmaster Tools. You’ll help translate complex SEO data into clear insights and actions that retailers can understand and appreciate.

This isn’t a role for someone who just follows checklists. It’s for someone who’s curious, analytical, and eager to learn how all the moving parts of SEO connect to real business outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement SEO strategies, including on‑page and off‑page optimization, to improve website traffic and search rankings.

Perform regular website audits to identify SEO performance gaps and collaborate with web developers to implement improvements.

Conduct comprehensive keyword research and optimize content such as meta tags, descriptions, internal linking, on‑page content, and blogs.

Implement local SEO strategies and manage business listings on platforms like Google Business Profile and the Semrush tool.

Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEMrush, leveraging AI tools to streamline workflow.

Perform competitive analysis and report on competitors’ SEO strategies.

Build and manage high‑quality backlinks through ethical link‑building campaigns.

Set goals and KPIs for organic search performance based on data analysis.

Deliver monthly SEO deliverables for each client.

Stay current with SEO best practices, algorithm changes, and industry trends.

Propose process improvements for SEO growth.

Collaborate with internal teams to align SEO strategies with broader marketing goals.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Minimum of 1‑2 years in a digital marketing or SEO role; internship or freelance SEO experience is beneficial.

Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices.

Proficiency in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or BrightEdge.

Strong copywriting skills for engaging, SEO‑friendly content.

Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic HTML.

Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Good interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.

Work Environment Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of the workstation and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending, and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.

General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
