Hybrid work schedule with a mix of office and remote work.
Responsibilities
Work in a project team environment in the design, modification, and/or upgrade of new and existing power plant electrical systems.
Under the direction of the Electrical Project Lead, collaborate with multi-disciplined engineering and design teams to develop:
Single‑line diagrams
Relay and metering diagrams
AC and DC schematic diagrams
Synchronizing diagrams
Point‑to‑point wiring diagrams
Cable schedules
Electrical wiring drawings and integration of vendor drawings into overall project design.
Physical design drawings based on field walkdowns.
Accompany and assist in field walkdowns and data gathering at client facilities in Wyoming and Colorado.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in drafting, or a high school diploma with equivalent technical design experience.
6+ years of detailed wiring design experience, including single‑line, relay, and metering diagrams for medium voltage and 480 V systems.
Familiarity with digital control systems.
Proficiency in producing wiring diagrams, schematics for installers and electricians, and assisting engineers with initial design requirements.
Extensive experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD on power plant or large facility projects.
In-depth understanding of drafting and design practices and theories.
Strong communication skills to interface with engineering and design teams across disciplines.

Compensation $58,930.00 – $87,460.00 base salary with discretionary bonus potential.
