Overview Fox TV Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations in 14 of the top 15 DMAs and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. The stations distribute sports, entertainment and syndicated content and collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. Job Description KTTV/KCOP Fox 11 and Fox 11 Plus is looking for an exceptional Sports Producer for this Fox Owned and Operated duopoly in Los Angeles. Ability to write, edit and produce for all variations of our sports shows and sports casts, including 30 minutes or hour-long stand-alone shows as well as shorter segments within news. Ability to edit and create compelling content on tight deadlines. Knowledge of all platforms, digital and linear, where sports news is discussed, broken and/or distributed. Requires three plus years of producing experience, preferably with a focus on sports, the ability to work flexible shifts including working nights and weekends, and an intimate knowledge of all sports, and even more so within the Los Angeles sports scene. Must be comfortable communicating with PR factions of all teams and departments across a wide range of sports - professional, college and preps. Managing expectations to help coordinate, plan and schedule shoots for the department. Have the experience and knowledge to put together any type of package, highlights, or long-form piece for any of our various shows. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $49.22 per hour.
