We are seeking a highly organized and detail?oriented Remarketing Coordinator to join our team. This role involves assisting with vehicle remarketing operations, customer communications, and logistical coordination. The ideal candidate has a background in automotive sales, thrives in a fast?paced environment, and delivers exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell returned vehicles and set floor prices based on market trends and valuation reports.
  • Coordinate transportation logistics including vehicle holds, releases, and auction scheduling.
  • Communicate with lessees, dealers, and auctions regarding vehicle status and documentation.
  • Evaluate inspection reports and ensure accuracy of vehicle condition and mileage.
  • Generate and manage purchase agreements and maintain records in Seamless and Excel.
  • Monitor and update vehicle valuations using Black Book, Karpower, and MMR reports.
  • Handle escalated customer service issues including mechanical concerns and aftermarket alterations.
  • Support credit unions with remarketing of repossessed vehicles.
  • Authorize final billing and verify auction fees and title turnaround times.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Computer Skills:

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Seamless Lease Connection, AutoIMS, Carfax, Kelly Blue Book, Blackbook and MMR.

Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to negotiate the sale of a vehicle directly with a used car manager at a dealership or wholesaler.
  • Organized and self?motivated with strong time?management skills.
  • Superior communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast?paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and work independently.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of vehicles and automotive industry a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing work environment.

Work Environment

This role is primarily office?based with moderate noise levels. Physical demands include sitting, using hands, reaching, and occasional stooping or kneeling. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Pay Rate
  • Up to $30 per hour.
  • Exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
