As a global people manager, the Director leads a medium-sized, geographically dispersed team, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and high performance. This leader also plays a major leadership role in the total transformation of Global Sourcing and Procurement at PayPal, driving modernization, strategic alignment, and enterprise value. This role leads the development of breakthrough category strategies that drive brand growth, operational efficiency, and strategic supplier partnershipscombining deep sourcing expertise, market fluency, and executive influence to elevate marketing's strategic and financial impact across the enterprise. Essential Responsibilities: Execute the organization's sourcing strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and delivers value. Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, cost savings, and quality improvements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define material, quality, and service requirements and ensure alignment with sourcing strategies. Develop and use scorecards to measure and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sourcing operations. Explore and evaluate new sources, methods, and vendors to ensure a reliable supply of materials.
