Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and creative Charity Event Planner to take the reins on planning and executing events that drive impact and support various nonprofit partners. The ideal candidate is passionate about event planning, community engagement, and bringing purposeful ideas to life. This role is hands-on and collaborative, offering the opportunity to make a real difference while leading impactful initiatives throughout Wisconsin and beyond. Responsibilities Plan & Lead Events: Coordinate and oversee all aspects of charity events from conception to completion (logistics, vendors, timelines, setup, permits, run-of-show, etc.) Vendor & Venue Coordination: Build relationships with venues, caterers, entertainers, production crews, and service providers. Team Oversight: Supervise and support volunteers, interns, and event assistants as needed. Nonprofit & Sponsor Collaboration: Work closely with nonprofit partners, donors, and sponsors to align event goals and ensure meaningful integration into event programs. Marketing Input: Collaborate with the communications team on marketing strategies, ticket sales, social media promotion, and public relations efforts. Budget Management: Track expenses, negotiate contracts, and maintain event budgets responsibly and transparently. On-Site Leadership: Be the point person during events, ensuring smooth operations, solving problems in real-time, and maintaining a positive, guest-focused atmosphere.
