The Role:
The CRM Communications Coordinator at Central Washington University (CWU) will work closely with the Slate CRM Communications team to bring a cohesive structure and voice to communications in the Slate Client Relations Management (CRM) system. This position will coordinate the development and implementation of communication plans to enhance the communication to prospective and incoming students through the Slate CRM system. This position will work closely with Admissions, Financial Aid, Orientation, Housing, Advising, Registrar, and other campus partners to support lead generation, application nurturing, and yield efforts to support the university's ability to achieve enrollment goals. They will support the Associate Director of CRM Communications in building communication plans for drip and responsive communications, campaigns, event and operational communications, and texting campaigns. The CRM Communications Coordinator will monitor campaign health and optimize campaign performance. They will produce key performance indicator reports to track campaign success and make recommendations for future campaign improvements.

Job Duties
Communications Management: - Develops marketing and communications plans for the Slate CRM platform to communicate with prospective and incoming CWU students. - Identifies specific audiences and key messaging for marketing campaigns. - Builds and formats communications within the Slate CRM platform using the email builder and HTML templates. - Consults with clients to build strategic communications plans, setting goals to support the overall recruiting strategy. - Coordinates across academic and administrative departments to successfully achieve project goals. - Assists in the production of print materials and campaigns, collaborating with the Creative Services and other University Relations teams. - Manages the daily project management needs and assigns tasks. - Drafts marketing and communications content, including emails, digital, and print content. - Communicates clearly and effectively with Enrollment Management and university partners to understand communications needs. - Follows CWU brand standards and assists in developing a cohesive voice for the university within the brand standards.
Reporting and Analytics - Measures project success and creates key performance indicator reports. - Monitors and optimizes campaign performance to maximize communication plan success. - Makes recommendations for future campaign modifications, to enhance campaign success. - Reports regularly to the campus partners and University Relations leadership. - Performs regular market research on best practices and benchmarking to ensure communication plans and practice are current and compete with industry partners. - Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent attentiveness to details (proofreading, editing) Demonstrated ability and/or experience working with students and/or co-workers from a wide range of abilities, backgrounds, and experiences. OR applicable combination of education and/or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Preferred Qualifications

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
Salary
: This position has a minimum annual salary of $53,698 and maximum annual salary of $77,862. Tier 1 : $53,698 - $61,753 annually ( Expected hiring range ): Considered fair value for a newly hired employee meeting the basic requirements of the job, and those who are new to the role. Tier 2 : $61,754 - $69,807 annually ( Potentially considered hiring range ): May be considered if a fully competent applicant has 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, and able to quickly assimilate and consistently meet or exceed performance expectations. Tier 3 : $69,808 - $77,862 annually ( Longevity range, not considered for hiring )
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the hiring range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
Schedule/Appointment
: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
Working Conditions
: Work is performed in an indoor office setting with frequent in-person interactions. It is essential to be able to remain at a desk/computer workstation for prolonged periods of time, perform extensive data entry and other computer-related tasks and create/maintain filing systems for departmental records. Some evening or weekend work and/or occasional travel may be required.
