Overview PTLA Real Estate Group is looking for a Community Manager to take over two apartment communities (total 89 units) in its portfolio! This position is responsible for effectively managing and coordinating activities and available resources to maximize the successful operation of the property, with a heavy emphasis on leasing and resident service. This position works closely with property owners and upper management to meet property objectives and operating performance. Compensation Pay: $30.00 per hour Important Requirements Two different properties, so reliable transportation is required Must live onsite at designated property Essential Duties and Responsibilities Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manages core business processes, including leasing, resident relations, marketing, maintenance, vendor relations, etc Works closely with the Portfolio Manager to achieve optimum new lease and renewal pricing Develops strategies and executes action plans to align property goals with company goals Exhibits role model behavior in customer service and professionalism Oversees community administrative and reporting functions; partners with Accounting Department to ensure accurate financial reporting Maintains property cleanliness and curb appeal Adheres to the letter and spirit of Fair Housing and Employment laws. Ensures the same level of compliance from all team members. Completes additional tasks or projects as assigned by the Portfolio Manager Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
