24 Seven Talent is hiring: Environmental Designer in Portland

Our client is seeking an Environmental Designer to join their team for this remote opportunity. To start, this is a 3-4 week contract, working 30-40 hours/weekly with potential to lead to future on-going projects/opportunities. Candidates must be able to attend meetings in-office in the Portland, OR area as needed.

Ideal Candidate: will have at least 5+ years of environmental design experience with a strong spatial design background and an eye for large-format, in-store brand experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Drive and manage environmental design projects, including spatial planning, branded environments, and large-format graphics.
• Partner with internal design and strategy teams to transform brand narratives into compelling physical experiences.
• Create 3D concepts, renderings, and presentation materials for client feedback and approval.
• Utilize creative problem-solving to bring sport, lifestyle, and retail brand stories to life in store environments.

Qualifications:

• Over 5 years of professional experience in design, with a focus on environmental or spatial projects.
• Senior-level expertise in environmental or spatial design, preferably within sport, lifestyle, or retail industries.
• Advanced proficiency in SketchUp and KeyShot for 3D modeling and visualization.
• Deep understanding of materials, scale, and visual storytelling in three-dimensional spaces.
• Skilled at aligning creative vision with practical execution, project requirements, and deadlines.
