Our client is seeking an Associate Technical Designer to join their team on a temp basis in their New York office!

Responsibilities:

• Attend all fittings and manage the fit approval process with the assistance of Senior Technical Designer as needed
• Communicate clear direction to overseas offices and factories to support brand quality and on-time delivery of products.
• Capable of identifying and resolving fit & construction issues through garment fittings (on models & forms), measuring garments, creating & revising graded specs and making pattern corrections.
• Develops tech packs (POM) based on sketches and/or samples from designers.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of Technical Design experience
• Bachelors degree in design, production, or tech design
• Strong knowledge of sewing, construction, and some pattern making
• Proficiency in excel and illustrator
