Job Opportunity: Structural Welder – Pulse Arc

Location: Newport News, VA

Pay: $45.00 /hr (Local) | $45.00 /hr and $145 Per Day Worked for Per Diem (Non-Local)

Schedule: Full-Time, Contract | 40 hrs/week

About the Role

Perform pulse-arc structural welding (GMAW/FCAW) on ship modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Weld per WPS; multipass/all positions as needed.
• Prep/fit joints; manage distortion/heat input.
• Support QA/NDT and repairs.

Requirements

• Recent structural weld test; pulse processes.
• Read symbols/prints; strong safety/quality.
• HS diploma/GED; background & drug screening.
