Job Description
Immediate Full Time opening at an established and expanding public safety radio communications company in the Raleigh, NC area, for an experienced LMR (Land Mobile Radio) Systems Technician.

Candidate Requirements
- Basic knowledge of RF systems, such as transmitters, receivers, and antenna networks
- Two (2) years of solid field experience in LMR system infrastructure, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Experience in periphery subsystems including simulcast, microwave, dispatch consoles, networking systems, and voice paging
- Proficiency using appropriate test equipment
- Relevant coursework at a technical school/college/university and/or at product manufacturer‑provided training, required
Skills/Experience that will make you stand out
- L3Harris, Tait, Kenwood/EF Johnson P25 systems
- Tait ASIP systems and other analog simulcast systems
- P25 subscriber radios from various manufacturers
- Zetron and Avtec consoles
- DMR Tier 2 & 3 systems including subscriber radios from various manufacturers
- FCC issued Extra class Amateur Radio license and/or General Radiotelephone Operators License
- Understanding of basic TCP/IP computer networking
- Ability to use Windows based workstations and servers
Candidate must have
- Ability to perform all physical requirements of the job
- Ability to travel as needed (mostly local day travel with few overnights)
- Clean current driver’s license, driving history, and pass background and drug screenings
- Clean criminal background
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in problem solving
- Strong self‑management skills and “people” skills to work closely with customers and coworkers
- Ability to participate in a rotating 24/7 on‑call schedule
