Business Development Manager
We are looking to expand our senior care reach and are hiring a Non‑Medical Home Care Marketer for our private pay agency in the Lee County, FL area. We are seeking someone who enjoys building relationships with referrers and families from within their community. We have a fantastic toolbox of resources that makes relationship building fun and easy. We are looking for someone local to Lee County, who either has established connections in the senior care industry, or has a strong background in sales and marketing.
Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and nurses are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Experience with sales
- Exceptional presentation skills and highly organized
- Ability to build relationships with referral partners
- Experience with PowerPoint
- Comfortable with asking referral partners for business
- Ability to learn and maintain a CRM
- Ability to set and exceed goals
- Highly organized with the ability to follow processes and take initiative to identify new opportunities for business
- Experience in the senior care industry preferred; passion for the elderly a must!

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)
- Identify all local influence centers to determine lead sources
- Conduct training sessions to professionals and families that focus on dementia care and other age related diseases
- Personally visit and arrange meetings with persons responsible for or in a position to refer clients; this includes private, public, and non‑profit organizations at a regular interval
- Arrange presentations of our services at staff meetings in hospitals, nursing homes, doctor’s offices, and private companies to educate them on our services
- Attend trade shows, conferences and networking events representing Assisting Hands services. Network with others in the industry to develop additional lead sources.
- Meet with prospective clients and their families and explain our services
- Close deals and onboard new clients
- Maintain and manage a Customer Relationship Management System to track leads and follow‑up on leads
- Maintain a database of potential referrers
- Achieve weekly visit frequency with key targets and deliver messaging as per our marketing program
- Meet with manager weekly to discuss opportunities, referral status, activity, etc.
